Refund and Returns Policy

At CryptoCloaks™, we are committed to transparency about our return and refund process for our specialized cryptocurrency mining hardware, full nodes, S9 space heater cases, open-source miners, ASIC units (e.g., Bitaxe, NerdAxe, Canaan, Magic Miners), and related electronics (our “Products”).
This Refund and Returns Policy is part of and fully incorporated into our Terms of Service, which you agree to when placing any order on https://www.cryptocloaks.com. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted the Terms of Service—including all details of this refund and return policy. There is no separate agreement required for this policy.
Policy Summary Due to the high-value, industrial-grade, and high-risk nature of our Products (including electrical/heat operation and potential for user modifications), returns and refunds are limited:
- We do not accept general “change of mind” returns.
- Returns or exchanges are available primarily for defective or damaged items upon arrival (not due to user misuse, modification, flashing, overclocking, or improper setup).
- All sales are final except as described below or as required by applicable law.
Eligibility Eligible items must:
- Be unused (unless arriving defective or damaged).
- Be in original condition, packaging, and include all accessories, manuals, and seals.
- Include proof of purchase (order number/receipt).
Non-Returnable / Non-Refundable Items
- Gift cards, downloadable software/digital files.
- Intimate or sanitary goods.
- Hazardous materials (per shipping regulations).
- Sale/final sale items.
- User-modified, flashed, overclocked, or damaged Products (including heat-related or electrical issues from improper use).
- Opened miners/hardware subject to hygiene or safety concerns.
Return / Exchange Process
- Contact Support: Email support@cryptocloaks.com within 30 days of receipt (or as soon as possible for defects—specific windows noted in the Terms of Service, e.g., 15 days for certain open-source miners). Include your order number, photos of any issue, and details.
- Review and Approval: We evaluate requests individually. Unauthorized returns may be refused or subject to fees.
- Defective/Damaged on Arrival: Report promptly within 15 days per product. We may offer repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion.
- Restocking Fees: A $10 restocking fee applies to approved returns/exchanges of working or unopened miners (additional fees possible for complex/high-value items).
- Return Shipping: You cover return shipping costs (non-refundable). Use trackable, insured shipping. Send to: CryptoCloaks, PO Box 7882, Loveland, CO 80537. We are not liable for lost or damaged returns in transit.
- Refund Issuance: After receipt and inspection, refunds go to the original payment method (or crypto wallet for crypto orders). Processing takes up to 15 days. Fiat fees (e.g., Stripe) are non-refundable. Crypto refunds use the original cryptocurrency or equivalent fiat value at our discretion. Original shipping fees are not refunded.
- Delayed Refunds: If a refund appears late, check your bank, payment processor, or crypto wallet first.
Manufacturer Warranties Certain Products (e.g., some Canaan or Magic Miners) carry only the manufacturer’s warranty (typically 1 year). For those claims, contact the manufacturer directly. We provide no additional warranty beyond what’s stated in the Terms of Service.
Shipping and Lost Packages We are not responsible for packages marked “delivered” by the carrier. No-tracking shipments are not covered if lost. Address errors causing returns are your responsibility (return shipping charged).
