From idea to first physical prototype
This is one tightly scoped CryptoCloaks custom project slot for a Bitcoin-focused part, display, holder, enclosure, accessory, or other original physical concept. The goal is a practical first prototype, not an open-ended consulting engagement.
What the $250 slot includes
Feasibility review
CryptoCloaks reviews the idea, intended use, available measurements, and scope before design work begins.
CAD and design
Up to two hours of focused CAD and design work toward one agreed first-prototype concept.
One revision
One reasonable revision round after the initial design review.
First prototype
One PETG prototype using no more than $20 in material, printed in the CryptoCloaks Colorado shop.
What is not included
- Shipping
- Electronics, fasteners, inserts, or purchased hardware
- Additional revisions or redesigns
- Additional copies or production runs
- Engineering certification, load ratings, or safety certification
- Infringing, unsafe, weapon-related, or prohibited designs
Anything outside the included scope is quoted separately before additional work continues.
How it works
- Reserve the slot. Checkout secures the one available project opening.
- Send the project brief. Provide the use case, measurements, reference photos, hardware details, and desired outcome.
- Feasibility is confirmed. If the project does not fit this scope, CryptoCloaks will offer a revised quote or refund before design work begins.
- Design and review. CryptoCloaks develops the first concept and completes the included revision round.
- Prototype and shipping quote. The first PETG prototype is printed, checked, photographed, and shipping is quoted separately.

This product is intentionally limited. If the idea requires complex assemblies, extensive reverse engineering, electronics integration, many revisions, engineering certification, or a production batch, it needs a separate quote.
