Black Box barrier shrouds for exhaust clearance

Black Box barrier shrouds help create a gap between your miner’s PSU exhaust and the pressure barrier foam in an Upstream Data Black Box setup. This is a barrier-clearance accessory, not a round-duct adapter or a replacement for the enclosure’s ventilation system.

Choose the version for the fan arrangement you have. The three options describe different miner configurations; they are not different duct outlet sizes.

Available colors are Black, White, and Orange. Match the selected configuration to the actual miner and its position against the pressure barrier. A matching brand name alone does not confirm clearance.

Check the barrier arrangement

Look at where the PSU exhaust meets the foam before ordering. The purpose of this part is to provide separation at that area, so both the miner layout and the barrier position matter. If your arrangement differs from the demonstration, confirm fit before buying rather than modifying the foam or forcing the part into place.

Check the clearance in your actual enclosure. Fan size alone does not establish the position of the PSU exhaust against the barrier.

Using the shroud

Power down and unplug the miner before working around fans or the barrier. Keep the exhaust path clear and check that the foam does not press against or obstruct the exhaust. After fitting, monitor temperatures and fan behavior when the miner restarts.

If your job is connecting a miner fan to round duct rather than spacing it from barrier foam, compare the Antminer single-fan 6-inch duct shroud or Whatsminer 8-inch duct shroud. Those are separate products for a different connection; they are not required add-ons for this barrier shroud.
