The Whatsminer PSU capture shroud is designed to route miner fan exhaust and power supply exhaust toward one duct connection. Choose a 6-inch or 8-inch outlet to match your planned duct run. This is the PSU-capture design, not a fan-only shroud with an extra accessory added.

This design is listed for M30s and M50s. Confirm your exact miner revision and PSU exhaust arrangement before ordering; those model names are not a blanket guarantee for every configuration. M20s compatibility remains unconfirmed. Do not order for an M20s on the assumption that it will fit.
The capture section needs to match the PSU exhaust as well as the miner fan. Compare both areas with the product photos. If you have changed the power supply or another part of the exhaust arrangement, check fit before buying rather than relying on the miner’s model label alone.
Choose the outlet for your installation
The outlet size should match a suitable duct route. Neither size guarantees a temperature drop or a particular airflow rate. Duct length, bends, restrictions, ambient conditions, and the miner’s fans all affect operation.
If you only need a single-fan duct connection, compare the Whatsminer 6-inch shroud or Whatsminer 8-inch shroud. These are alternatives for a different exhaust-capture job, not required companion purchases.
Installation checks
Power down and unplug the miner before fitting the shroud. Check alignment at the fan and PSU exhaust, then use the stock screws without forcing the printed part. Connect matching ducting with a suitable clamp and support the duct separately.
Keep the outlet path clear. After restart, watch temperatures and fan behavior and inspect the connection for movement. PETG is the specified material, not a fire rating or proof of suitability at every operating temperature. This accessory does not promise to remove every bit of room heat or replace ventilation planning.
