• Camera fit: Big Pi Camera or Micro. Choose the opening for the camera module in your own build; check your module before ordering.
• Main Case Body Color: pick from the same 19 color choices available on our Orange Surf SeedSigner case.
• Accent Color: choose independently from those same 19 colors.
• Ports: Open Ports or Closed Ports. Select the case layout you want for your build.

The photos show a red-and-white assembled example to illustrate the case design. Your ordered colors and camera/port configuration are determined by your selections. This listing is for the case only. The Raspberry Pi, display, camera, buttons/controls, microSD card, cable, SeedSigner software, and other electronics shown in example photos are not included.

Fit and ordering notes

Choose the camera version that matches your hardware, not just the look of the example photos. SeedSigner builders use different camera modules and component revisions; compare your parts and port-access needs before ordering. This is a case for a standard DIY SeedSigner-style build, not the SeedSigner+ metal case and electronics kit. Start with this CryptoCloaks case in the body color, accent color, camera opening, and port layout you want. The $8 case is the enclosure, not a hardware kit. Compare the Big and Micro camera photo above to your own module before choosing the camera fit; the photo is a reference, not a promise that every third-party camera board has the same mounting dimensions.

Parts to supply

• Raspberry Pi Zero: SeedSigner prefers the non-wireless Pi Zero v1.3 for an air-gapped build. The Raspberry Pi Zero v1.3 board on Amazon is a shopping reference; confirm the listing is the original non-wireless board with a camera connector, not a Zero W or Zero 2 W, before buying. Other boards need their own fit check before buying this case. If your Zero does not have a GPIO header, the display will need a compatible header installed.
• Display and controls: a 1.3-inch Waveshare LCD HAT with a 240 × 240 display, joystick, and three buttons. Check the exact model before purchase. The 1.3-inch LCD HAT from Waveshare is a component source; it is not included with the case.
• Camera: a Pi Zero-compatible camera and ribbon cable matching the camera option you select. The small Pi Zero camera module on Amazon is a Micro-style shopping reference from the official SeedSigner component list, not a guaranteed fit for every third-party board. For the Big Pi Camera opening, compare your larger module and Pi Zero-specific ribbon against the gallery photo and the official hardware guide. A standard Raspberry Pi camera ribbon does not fit the Pi Zero’s smaller connector.
• Storage and power: a microSD card large enough for the current SeedSigner image, plus a suitable Pi Zero USB power cable and supply. None of these are included.

Assembly order

1. Check the parts first. Confirm your Pi model, display resolution, GPIO header, camera board and ribbon, and your selected case’s camera and port openings. Use the official SeedSigner hardware guide for the current component requirements.
2. Prepare the software. Get the current image for your Pi model from the official SeedSigner software page. Verify the download using the project’s instructions, write the image to the microSD card, and insert the card.
3. Connect before closing. With power disconnected, seat the camera ribbon in the Pi’s camera connector according to your hardware’s instructions, attach the display HAT to the GPIO header, and arrange the parts in the case without pinching the ribbon. Do not force a board or connector that does not line up.
4. Test, then close. Power the assembly with a suitable supply and confirm that the display, controls, and camera scan work before closing the case. Disconnect power, fit the printed pieces together, and recheck your chosen port access. Closed Ports does not make the case sealed or waterproof.

Component versions and SeedSigner releases change. Check the official hardware and software instructions before buying parts or loading the device with Bitcoin keys. If your board or camera dimensions differ from the pictured build, ask us about fit before ordering the case.

Does the $8 case include a working SeedSigner?

No. The assembled device in the photos is an example. You supply the compatible electronics, camera, Raspberry Pi, storage, and software separately.

Can I choose two different colors?

Yes. Main Case Body Color and Accent Color are separate selections, each with the 19 choices offered on our Orange Surf case.

Which camera option should I pick?

Choose Big Pi Camera or Micro to match the camera module you plan to install. If you are unsure which one you own, confirm the module before placing the order.

What do Open Ports and Closed Ports mean?

They are two case-layout choices. Choose the version that fits how you want to access the ports on your build; closed does not mean waterproof or sealed.
